Some of the most important holidays are coming up in a couple weeks, and people already can’t wait. For me, I don’t really care about the holidays, for instance Thanksgiving; I just care about the five day break. I never really celebrated Thanksgiving before and do not plan to in the future. But also coming up are some Islamic holidays like Eid. During Eid, Muslims go to a huge place filled with thousands and thousands of people and pray. Afterwards we are given presents and are taken out to breakfast or dinner. Sometimes we might even go to a friend’s house or the park. My favorite part is the presents because I know what I am going to get every single year, a nice straight fifty dollar bill. This year, unfortunately, Eid is during Thanksgiving break, which means we can not have an extra day off while everyone else is in school. Oh I cant wait!
