There are people that appear to be in a hurry most of the time, even when it is absolutely unnecessary. We should be time-conscious, at all times.  We should also think of fleeting time in terms of maintaining our physical and mental health and realizing that, under certain circumstances, there is no need to rush and afflict our lives with any additional stress that we experience throughout our lives.

There is an invisible clock that keeps ticking within us and regardless of how we choose to live our lives, that clock will not cease ticking.  ”Time is of the essence,” is a saying applied to our contractual obligations, but is also a  reminder that there might be an urgent need to reach our objectives which otherwise might not be possible if we are not time-conscious about it. 

There are those that think of time in terms of expediting their efforts in the way of achieving something within the time frame allowed, such as a test or examination for which they have to study within the limited period allowed which is understandable, but there are also times when we must be cognizant of the fact that our mind and body also needs to be attuned to the clock that ticks within us.  We should try to slow down under certain circumstance when rushing is not necessary while, at the same time, be time-conscious of the tension and stress that could sneak up on us and cause us irreparable harm.  

Stress cannot be enirely avoided; however, by rushing to get somewhere when we could easily slow down, under certain circumstances, would make no difference except add to our stress.

Time keeps fleeting while  the invisible clock within us keeps ticking. There is a need to pause and slow down, feast our eyes on Nature’s wonders while being time-conscious, by way of letting our body and mind get attuned to life’s moments of pleasure through relaxation.
