Have you ever felt you were not there at the right place at the right time?
Have you ever wondered whenever things went awry that it happened because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time? Did you buy something expensive only to know that the same thing has dropped in price or something as good as it is available at discount? Did your company come up with new policies which are benefiting new employees but had some age old policies before you quit it? Have you ever felt just few minutes delay could have avoided some kind of accident you met with? Has a misunderstanding happened because you were not available for an explanation? Did the bank which you were thinking of investing in suddenly decrease its rate of interest? The list of questions go on.
A lot of people sometime feel victimised and think “why me?” or “why does it happen only to me?”. But is not like we try to take too much control of whatever is happenning instead of gracefully accept it?
Everything happens for good. There are extreme cases like death of loved one, well it is certainly difficult to say it happenned for good but yes, everything happens for a reason.
Talking of acceptance, admitted it will not reverse what has happenned but can really prevent further undesired happennings.
When the twin towers episode took place there were several people who had narrow escape from the cold hands of death. All these people were those who were late for work because their alarm failed to ring, or they were waiting for breakfast to be ready, got stuck on the way due to different reasons.
Whenever a huge calamity like earthquake happens or even train accidents or plane one can always gets read about people who cancelled their travel plans in the last minute and thus their death was averted.
Next time you are in a traffic jam don’t crib, JUST PRAY
