Contemplative ,meditative thought.

“Today is the day for which the battle is fought, and the prize shall be glorious”

We have a war that is raging all around us, yet many of us are not even aware of its existence. This battle is not for ground or natural resources, nor country, or pride. The prize in this war is much more valuable. This battle is for our mind! Let us discover today the power of our thoughts and words. With this shall the renewal of our true essence, the brilliance in which we were created be restored.

Like a magnet we draw into our lives what we constantly think about. So positive, joyous and happy thoughts produce a joyous, positive and happy life, our thoughts also affect every aspect of our lives, like our emotions and how we act. We feel and act exactly the way we think. So let us begin with taking responsibility for our lives, our thoughts and actions.

Today without all the distractions of our daily lives let us take control of our minds. For we were created to burn brilliantly, to shine on every occasion, in every circumstance, to look at every obstacles as yet another opportunity to burn brilliantly, we are the children of light who have forgotten to shine. So today we begin with this simple thought in our meditation;

“My brilliance shines bright in every circumstance, every encounter”

Whose brilliance is needed to light the world? Ours is! This then, is the truth about us. It refers to us as we were created and meant to be. As a statement of truth, it is shining example of gentleness and our true nature. This is a beginning step in restoring our brilliance. It is a positive assertion of our natural abilities, and an acknowledgment of the power that is given us to affect change, not only in our own lives but in that of our brothers and sisters.

That is why we are here to help one another, to contribute to life. Let us think about this for a short while, preferably with our eyes closed if the situation permits. Let a few related thoughts come to us, and repeat the goal to ourselves. If our mind wanders away from the central thought, remember we are in control of those thoughts, and so we try again. This is a day which we will awaken to the truth about ourselves; reinforce it throughout the day, and turn to sleep as we reaffirm our function and our only purpose. Try today to begin to build a firm foundation for this advance in consciousness. We are the light of the world. It is our responsibility to shine bright.
