Tolerance means respecting and learning from others, valuing differences, bridging cultural gaps, creating new bonds and discovering common grounds.
Tolerance means respecting and learning from others, valuing differences, bridging cultural gaps, creating new bonds and discovering common grounds. But does tolerance means that all behaviors have to be accepted? No, of course not. Behaviors that disrespect or hurt others, like being mean or bullying, or behavior that break social rules, like lying or stealing, should not be tolerated.
Being Powerful:
We all experience in today’s world that hardly any one stands straight or remains calm when the other person hits him, may it be intentionally or unintentionally. It’s seen that reply is a must, that is only for our self satisfaction, nothing else.
Education is listening to almost every thing with
out losing your temper.
Robert Frost
Being powerful does not mean that you punch someone who hurts you and become the king, no it will increase violence. Try and resolve issues with communication that’s a very effective channel and the most easiest as well to reach the bottom of someone’s heart. Learn to say sorry, learn to accept mistakes, the world will be yours.
A touchy Story…….
There were two best friends, Naeem and Asad. They were both on their way home when Naeem gave a tight slap on Asad’s face, as Asad said some thing wrong to Naeem. Asad got very upset and sat down near by and wrote on the sand that today, my best friend slapped me…they continued the journey.
This was their daily route which they use to follow. After few minutes a pool came and Asad went into the pool and jumped so desperately that he fainted and started drowning. Naeem realizing that his friend is in need jumped into the water and saved his life. When Asad woke up, he went to the near by stone and wrote on it that today, my best friend saved my life.
What lesson this story teaches us:
The first time when Asad was hit by his friend he wrote it on sand, so the wind of forgiveness can blew it away. Whereas, the second time when Naeem saved him he wrote it on stone so that whenever he passes by that stone he could think of his friend as a real one.
