The tongue is so sensitive that you either make or mar your image.

Every human has an acting tongue less those who are deformed or dumb folded. The tongue is an everyday actor and of course is there at the centre right inside the mouth. It is small in size but mighty in action. The tongue creates war and at the same time makes peace. It builds and destroys. All subjugation, gossip, allegation and what have you are made through this small versatile organ. Everybody has a duty to perform in order to control the tongue. Care should be taken to pilot honestly. We must endeavour to be considerate, upright, and God fearing and very sincere in all our deliberations.

We must say no to forces external or internal that would propel us to misusing our tongue. Moreover, it is believed that he who cannot control the tongue is definitely an ingrate; incapable of pity. That is to say that the person is empty and even as it is related to the saying that the empty vessels make the largest noise. We should try to control our tongue and always mind our business.

    Not bad Michael. Good sentiments.
I think ‘ingrate’ may be the wrong word (ungrateful) if directly described as incapable of pity.

That is why the Bible had a lot to say about controling the tongue. It can get us into a lot of trouble if we speak without first thinking of the response we might get from others.
