What do you suppose this strangely titled post might be about? Only one way to satisfy your curiosity, so read on.

Would you believe that I just read a post written by Seiva7 about creating an article based on keywords of the moment.  Now just because the number one topic on google right now is unclaimed money should not really be a good excuse to  use those two words as a title, but then again, if it got your attention, it was surely worth it because that was the whole point.

I could have talked about the Boston Globe newspaper or even US open golf, both of which are apparently very hot topics today, but since I never read that particular news-sheet, and have no understanding of the game of golf whatever, I thought it might not be appropriate to use them in the title, whereas unclaimed money certainly is something I could relate to.

Apparently, the Good Morning America TV program has been helping lots of people cash in on money they were unaware of being owed, like old government savings bonds, left in some drawer for years and forgotten, there being over $16Billion in unclaimed bonds waiting to be cashed. This is the website you need to go to if you think you might be affected http://www.treasurydirect.gov/indiv/tools/tools_treasuryhunt.htm

The U.S. Treasury’s Bureau of the Public Debt is holding 44.7 million savings bonds that are either matured or unredeemed, matured meaning they stopped earning interest, whilst

Unredeemed ones have not been cashed in. Savings bonds take 20 to 40 years to mature, so people often forget about them, once bought. There are many other ways that unclaimed money can be found. Thing is that the writing of any post that features keywords can be a risk. I look forward very much to watching the movie Green Lantern, when it comes out, because I am a big kid at heart and really enjoy losing myself in such escapist nonsense, but that does not mean that I am unprepared for disappointment. These films often fail to live up to the hype, but if the whole Green Lantern movie is as good as the trailers I have seen, I should be in for a treat.

Not only were these topics hot today, but there is the question that was top of yahoo ratings, about the new research showing quite clearly that in any marriage, when it comes to night-time rest, the wife who finds sleep hard to come by is almost certainly in a relationship that is unhappy, Wives who sleep less are generally much more unhappy. That should certainly provoke some debate among readers.

The thing is simply this. I want to know how much difference it makes taking snippets of what the hot topics of the day and stitching then into a post, as I have done here, to see how much interest it actually generates. We all look, all of the time, for ways to improve our viewing figures. Maybe this is the way forward. Let me know what YOU think?
