As we know a tornado is a powerful , twisting windstorm.  It begins high up in the sky, amongst the winds of a giant storm clouds

Tornadoes are not the only whirling windstorms, that move through the earth’s  air,  dust devils, hurricanes and typhoons have twisting winds too.

When it is warm spring day, the sky is clear with no clouds and the sun is shining bright, puffy white clouds, that looks like a big wave high in the sky, then  the winds blow and whirl.

Suddenly a funnel of twisting winds drops out of the storm cloud and rushing down to the ground.

The funnel comes down touches, and kicking up dust and dirt..

Tornadoes can happen anywhere in the world, but mostly many of them really happen in the American Midwest, along

a strip know as “Tornado Alleys”  this strip runs from Texas and Kanas in the south near Canada and in the North ,

However, tornadoes sometimes  can occur somewhere else in the United States and other pars of the world too.

Although tornadoes can happen at anytime, of the year, it can happens in the spring and fall, especially December and January when the fewest tornadoes happen. 

People prepare for the tornadoes by making charts , to guide them , some folks gather food and supplies,

Just in case they are trapped for days.   Damages from most tornadoes can cause lots of destruction, leaving

many people homeless for months to come.  Many crops and life stocks gets destroy, during a tornadoes.

Tornadoes warning must always be taken seriously.
