The population is roughly 3.8 million spread over approximately 22,990 km².The Italian food is various and can be simple e.g. pizza, pasta and peaches in wine. Although it can get complicated such as whipped cream trifle. Italian cuisine uses many different types of ingredient with most dishes having some sort of oil in it. Italian dishes are characterised by simple meals not covered in extremely heavy sauces. People from Toscana are famous for making extremely good coffee, wine and pasta.

It is one of the most popular city in Tuscany and has a population of 367,569

The city is located on the banks of the River Arno and is known for its history and its importance in the Middle Ages and in the Renaissance

From 1865 to 1870 the city was also the capital of the Kingdom of Italy.

The historic centre of Florence continues to attract millions of tourists each year and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.

One of the worlds most known monument is the leaning tower of Pisa. The height of the tower is 55.86 m from the ground on the lowest side and 56.70 m on the highest side. The width of the walls are 4.09 m and at the top of the tower 2.48 m (8.14 ft). The leaning tower of Pisa leans to the southwest

One of the most famous statues made is Michelangelo’s David. It is a statue if the biblical king David. Michelangelo got the contact to craft it on the August 16th 1501. the statue was finished in 1504.
