Trailer for new Spider-Man film hits internet.

A trailer has leaked onto the internet for the The Amazing Spider-Man.  The film is not a sequel to previous Spider-Man films.  Instead it is a reboot that goes back to Peter Parker’s days in high school.  It looks like another origin story but with a few twists.  Based on the trailer, the film looks a lot darker in mood and tone.  The colors used in the film are a lot darker than what we saw in Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man trilogy.  The music is omnious and moody.  The feeling of the entire film is much more super serious, and Peter Parker looks like he is constantly brooding as a lonely, dark teenager.  And from what I hear, Parker’s parents play a bigger role in this origin story.

The director of this film is the guy who directed 500 Days of Summer, which was enjoyed by movie fans and critics alike.  The film will feature Dr Conners/The Lizard as the villian, which would be cool since we never got to see Lizard in the previous trailers.  The trailer never shows Lizard or Dr. Conners, so maybe we’ll see the character in a future trailer.  While the original Spider-Man trilogy had Mary Jane as the girlfriend, this new Spider-Man film has Gwen Stacy, the famous blonde from the Spiderman comics.

It has been a pretty interesting few weeks for comic book movies.  First we saw The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailer leak on the internet.  Then we saw The Avengers teaser trailer leak on the internet.  And now the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man leaks on the internet.  July has been a good month for comic book fans, which makes sense since Comic Con is going on this month.

So have you seen the leaked teasers for The Amazing Spiderman, The Avengers, and The Dark Knight Rises?  What are you opinions of all the new teasers?
