Have you ever taken a train ride that leads you to places wherever you like?

Have you ever taken a train ride that leads you to places wherever you like? If so, you must have enjoyed the view by the window that you may have taken for granted your destination as the scenery captured your imagination. Train rides were just short lived however applicable only for the particular route your ticket was worth. When you get down, the endless panorama that captures your senses by the window of your seat basically stops so as the animation you gained from the experience.

When a writer begins to give direction to his words through writing, you may picture him riding his train of thought on a literary journey only his pen (in the old times) or his hands on the computer keyboard could take him wherever he wants to. The connection between the first premise of the actual act and this second act in comparison is strikingly similar. When the train gets on going and the passenger remains seated, the sight by the window activates the mind and a lot of the past and present memories sets in similar to a writer who keeps on writing to keep his ideas flowing and manifested into words to be understood. When a train stops, a destination is reached and passengers get off board hence the end of the mental stimulation by the window of their seats and the actual journey. In the same way, when a writer puts down his pen or end up striking the keyboard of the computer, a letter was made or a short story had been carefully concluded.

Every day of our lives we may have been riding trains or merely following our train of thoughts despite that we never give serious consideration about it. As for me I have come up with this train of thought and I suppose I’m nearing my station to get off board and I hope too well you got the message. Life journeys could be more enjoying if you write about it.
