I have been through some things and this is how I felt. And I’m sure others have felt this way too. but where there is a will there’s a way and I hope this poem will help others to see that.
Trials and tribulation are like bile in the mouth, too sour to swallow but you can’t spit them out.
Now I’m forced to choke down what little pride is left. These trials and tribulations are just some of lifes little tests.
Like fumbling for a light in the dark, I’m feeling lost, the complete opposite of a stroll in the park. But I can’t give up, I gotta keep that spark, that ignites flame to ease the pain, as not to fall on the far side of boarderline insane.
I’m tired, I’m worn, and broken down. I feel like going home, yet I am having thoughts of leaving town. Inside of myself I scream, but the world won’t hear a sound. Through trials and tribulations, this is what I’ve found, no matter what you gotta love yourself.
And like a book with a torn cover, you can’t just sit there on the shelf. Because there you’ll sit to gather dust, but to share our inner knowledge is a must. Don’t let anything stop you or get in your way, put one foot in front of the other, take trials and tribulations day by day.
