Raise up your spirit with these two sentences.
Two Sentences that Raise Up My Spirit Lately
Several days a go I read two sentences about failure that make my spirit raise again. The first sentence is from an Indonesian youth, who has experienced up and down in his career till finally he won a competition, get a promising job as well as has a bright future in his hand.
Here is his sentence:
“In this world I have learned many things, one of the most important is the spirit of never give up, but I also must know when to retreat from a battle that has become impossible for me to win. I consider my loss as a lesson (I should pay for this lesson), my future should be better, and I have to really learn from this failure. This time I may fail, but I will be more advanced because I have more experiences. In my mind, someone with true entrepreneurship spirit could secretly aware of failure, and even make it as learning process.”
And the second sentence is from President Obama. I always consider Mr. Obama as a good orator.
“Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it’s not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failure along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won’t. It’s whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.” – Barack Obama
