It’s about the men who fought for our country.

Everyone has their heroes, we see them honored everyday. Now, if you ask me what one is, I’d only have 2 words’ to say. “Vietnam Vets” The boys’ that went in, scared and proud. Not knowing just what was instore. Came back distant and different men, Whom the government tried to ignore. They fought for their country, Honoring the; red, white, and blue. Losing their friends’ and families’, just fighting for me and you. Some of them recieved ribbons’ and stars’, or maybe highest honors. To some, it didn’t seem to matter, they were trying to save their partners. To me they will always’ be heroes, true men who need no disguise. For this land would never be our land, and a flag that will never fly. For those who went and to the ones’ who never came back, thank you. You are the true heroes in my life. And to my dad who has been there and done it, thanks’ for getting me involved with your own vet get  togethers’. That just incouraged me to keep it going and learn about something, I knew nothing about. Thank you and I love you.
