This tells why one young man got into politics while on active duty in the Marines thirty years ago. It shows how and why the people on active duty should be concerned about who gets elected.
Voter Reminder Presidential Elections Count
In voter reminder presidential elections count. That is why almost every jar-head on active duty in the eighties cast a vote for President Reagan the first time he ran for office. President Reagan had promised them that all the pertinent supplies required in any potential conflict with just about anyone would be issued.. As far as the military was concerned his promise turned out to be extremely beneficial. That point is easily illustrated when one looks back to how the forces performed while fighting Iran in the first Gulf War. They had all the supplies needed even though it was the first President Bush in command. Why shouldn’t the voters on active duty get a lot of satisfaction?
Voter Reminder Political Qualification
The voter reminder political qualification explains how some Marine with a low enlisted rank could feel and why he would be concerned about who becomes his next commander in chief. Let italso be pointed out that President Reagan had a theatrical background. Before any national politics his life had centered around Hollywood in California. That allowed him to be able to make a truly convincing speech over just about any issue. It allowed him to easily get up in front of strong crowds and speak without ever loosing control of himself. His training had allowed him to be able to pass enough convincing information to let voters know more fully where he stood on important issues. In his case all the people on active duty that voted for him got what was promised. The first Gulf War didn’t reflect the one in Korea or Vietnam. Why shouldn’t the commander in chief be qualified enough to make sure the troops are well supplied?
Voter Reminder Political Interpretations
Voter reminder Political interpretations were not obtained by every Marine back then. Only some young men could easily pick up on that ability. A few could do it because right before volunteering for active duty they had majored in Theater Arts in some University. One had been one of the original New Mexico Gunfighters before picking up the uniform for active duty. He could remember his weekly cowboy costume while wearing a uniform. He had played one of thoseoutlaw cowboys in the wild west. He was even able to stage a bank robbery in Old Town Albuquerque and get gunned down by the Marshall several times a weekend. This young Marine could easily understand what it meant to present yourself properly while standing in front of some crowd. Because the Gunfighter performances never were scripted we each had to get deeply into character so the lines we made up fit into the scenario outline without causing any problems. That kind of practice made it easy for me to perceive how Ronald Reagan could be performing for your vote. It’s just he was the upper most choice for all us Marines on active duty compared to the other candidates. Why should people into theater arts be denied their right to vote?
Voter Reminder Military Concerns
In voter reminder military concerns tend to be held by those in uniform. One has to admit that while on active duty one never looses concern about national issues because of what you can be called for in them. Now it should be obvious how veterans tend to feel about Presidential candidates that have also served on active duty. It’s easy to observe how those candidates know exactly what it is lie to be in combat. They tend to understand how casualties can be avoided when the troops are properly supplied. It even helps if the candidate has held some politicaloffice before running for President. Old Military veterans can understand how that experience gives them more political power when elected president. They know how Congressmen and Senators can get convinced about providing enough supplies. The President can even understand why military veterans should receive some medical care. Why shouldn’t people serving on active duty have as much political power as the people they are defending?
