A thought on the letter “W”. A short idea on the relevance and irrelevance as compared to other letter of the English alphabet.

‘W’ is a very unique letter. t is the only letter in the English alphabet spelled and spoken using conventional words (double-you) and only letter pronounced without the use of its own sound (example: B, bee; F, eff).

In only some conditions of the English alphabet does its usage resemble a ‘U’ (example: unit; quick). This letter differentiates too far from the rest of the English alphabet and is impractical, so will from now on be pronounced “Wah”.

Well, it definitely is a thought… But I think I’ll keep with called it a double u.

“wah” as in….with a short “a” sound or “a” as in “father”?
I guess it doesn’t really matter but…nice idea.

“Wah”? Intriguing. That would definitely make life a bit more interesting, by differentiating from the norm. Maybe I’ll try pronouncing it with a “wah” sound from now on, and see the type of response that I get.

I never thought of it that way, that’s quite a different thought. I do know that ‘W’ is the only letter in the English language that is 3 syllables. A very interesting piece.

Now for criticism: you misspelled “it.” That’s the only problem I found.
