Stop searching, and you will find.

When you spend your life searching, your mind is taught to think that in conclusion, you will find what you are looking for. But Many have searched their whole lives- whether for a lost item, meaning in life, or most commonly, love but come to find nothing but lost hope and disappointment. It is when you stop searching that you will truly come across what you are looking for. Love is not something you discover in the supermarket, or at home with your family. Love is the emotion, the unexplainable phenomenon you come to know inside of you. It is the acceptance of feelings you have towards another person. Whether your significant other, A person you have always had feelings for, or even a small child; wide eyed and smiling. “ Love” is the strongest and most prominent emotion a lot of us will feel in our lifetime. It is very often mistaken for lust, infatuation. The fine line between the definitions of these 3 words is simple: You can search for and successfully find Lust or infatuation, either through dating, or sleeping with every human being who catches your eye. But you will never find true love through sexual engagements or late night dinners. Dates, sexual desire does not bring about love. If the love is true, it is there before the sex. Though a complicated concept, in a nut shell- Love has no connection to lust, unless love is there first. You don’t fall into true love with someone because they took you out for a nice seafood dinner, or kissed much better than anyone else. With these you are falling into an illusion; infatuation. True love doesn’t need to be discovered. It was always there. What it needs is to be recovered. This is an idea quite a lot of the population has yet to grasp. I suppose our oblivious mannerisms towards this concept may be to blame for the divorce rate, or on a larger scale- homicide. I advise you to quit searching for love, perfection. When you finally accept the fact that true love will find you, That is when the happiness you never believed existed will come into play. That when you will live.

So stop searching, Praying For discovery.

Wait, recover, find.
