One of the dictionary definitions of destiny is: something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing, lot or fortune……

Destiny is simply fate.  Sounds like an ending that word fate.  Really, it’s only the beginning for the young woman who walks in the night through fields of color.  The leaves are bold and particularly comforting this Fall, for it has been a good, warm and leafy summer.  She walks alone and as her feet crunches through the leaves  she is not afraid as she sometimes is when alone.  She takes in all the warmth of the night even though there is an Autumn chill in the air.  Good warm thoughts rush through her head as she feels that the leaves seem far more alive in death than they did when they were alive.  Soon there will be  the somber and beautiful Thanksgiving feasts, the ever changing colors of Christmas, shopping, giving,  family, friends.

She has come full circle into herself and who she is and is comfortable with the thoughts.  She is so ready.  All day long the feeling has been on her: that something wonderful will happen.  Is this because she feels wonderful already?  She doesn’t know.  She would get a drink as soon as she got to the party. She would relax and see her friends that she has missed for a while now.

Well received and comfortable, she strolls through the party which conjures up admiring glances towards her.  It’s not really her style of party or of people but her friendship with the hostess is much more important.  So she settles with the goodness of friendship, a warm drink, a cigarette and a gentle thought that maybe, just maybe….

Her favorite song comes on and she doesn’t want to dance but more, appreciate the sounds and she does. She is in the kitchen alone facing the window.   Music moves her maybe a little more tonight than usual.  The melody and the lyrics are so beautiful that her instincts to just feel it made her move to it.  To an observant eye one might see that she had once aspired to dance on stage for she is not doing the current dance but more interpreting her feelings gracefully through the music.  He comes in and she doesn’t hear him at all and as he watches, it’s almost with the same fascinating as a child with a snow globe.  He is delighted, he smiles, he’s fascinated.

Your journey as described by the lady is one to re-live probably forever as long as it brings peace that you express that it does. The true enjoyment of the little events make each quite huge. This is described well and suits some of my life as well. Thank you for the reflection back to fully enjoy!
