This is about a Native American Spirit Guide who came to teach me a valuable lesson about embracing the moment.
If I am overcome with love and passion then I must embrace those feelings also. We are meant to love and to be loved. We must not let our fear of being hurt keep us from loving. Love is never wrong even if it doesn’t work out the way we want it to.
If I am overcome with sorrow then I must embrace my pain and let myself feel it. I can feel the pain and I can release it, letting the tears that I cry cleanse my spirit. The pain will not destroy me for I know that even in sorrow there is beauty.
This message teaches me that my heart must be open to right now. I must be ready to embrace this moment and to embrace what is inside of me. We are not meant to live our lives in fear of our emotions.
If I love you, you will know I love you. If you have touched my heart, you will know that you have touched my heart. If I feel joy then it will shine in my eyes, and if I feel sorrow it will be known by the tears flowing from my eyes.
This I believe is embracing the moment. Knowing all that we are, all that we have been, and being aware of all that is around us and all that is within us. Acknowledging our past, believing in our future, but being present in our here and now.
There truly is always beauty, each day, each moment of our lives. We must see the beauty, feel the beauty, and embrace the beauty that is life. If we only open our hearts to it, rather than always looking backward or forward, it is then that we will be, “walking with beauty in our hearts.”
