The world of crappy writers, and what the world of writing needs.

Every liberal with a pencil and a paper thinks he can be a writer. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a wanna-be-writer these days. It takes more then a point of view to be a writer, and that’s something I hope people will soon understand.

If you’ve spent hours trying to come up with a story and just wanted nothing more, then you might be a writer. If you’ve thought about lining up your future books more then the money you’d get from them then you might be a writer.

But there are two kinds of writers; there are writers, who write about anything just for the fun of it and the money, and getting their check. And then there are storytellers. People who only care about getting their story out to other people, not being heard or paid, just the fun and joy of telling their story.

Now, I’m both-but more of a storyteller truthfully. I enjoy just writing out a story that I know will never get published. Or saying my mind, even if nobody is listening. What the would of writers needs is more writers like me! There I said. Don’t try to blow my horn because I’ve already done it myself!
