Watch out for scams

With the rapid development of technologies and communication ways, our life is filled with more ease and comfort. But as one saying goes: everything has two sides, there are more and more scams nowadays than before, mostly come from online or phone calls.

I could not remember how many times I have come upon some e-mails which tell me that I win a big prize. I put them into junk inbox immediately because I have heard and seen too many this kind of tricks.

Of course, I also got SMS which says: mom, I got some problems, please send some money into this card. My son is only 9 year old, how come I got another kid suddenly? Actually, this is another trick from those who want to cheat someone who got a kid studying or working far away from home.

There is another kind of scam, which often use others’ greedy. To avoid to being cheated, you keep this in your mind: there is no free lunch in this world. If something seems too good, then it is not real. Now lots of people want to buy their house, when they got trouble in borrow money from the bank, they can get a loan from a consumer finance company, which is more and more popular nowadays. But at this time, a fraudulent lender may come out, some of which put their ads in newspapers, some on magazines. They tend to be more merciful and are willing to give you loan regardless of your financial situation or credit rate. Well, if you sign an agreement with this kind of company, they will let you pay some fee in advance for the loan, the borrower think they can loss nothing because the fee can be refund. But in the end, they are required to pay other fees. And the company does not keep their promise at all. So managing your loan financing is very important if you don’t want to be cheated.
