                                                 We Can All Enjoy Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day is linked to partners, husbands and lovers, and it’s the one day of the year we are supposed to appreciate, and make time for one another. We try to prove that Cupid’s Bow did pierce our heart, and the florists and confectioners have a great time , no matter how poor the weather is, their trade will go up just for that one special day.

But what about those people who for one reason or another, are alone? They may not have a partner because of bereavement, or simply because they have split up for one reason or another. My son is autistic, and he loves doing craft work, so every year I get a Valentine card that he made for me, especially. He cannot speak, but that card says it all, and means the world to me.

I think that Valentine ’s Day should be celebrated as a special day of love, whether it’s the love from your family, or the love from your partner. It is to be cherished. Happy Valentine’s Day  for tomorrow everyone, love is all around us.
