About the possibility of reincarnation and my experiences with the subject.

Have you ever met someone with whom you felt an instant relationship? Most of us have had this experience. We feel a common bond with this person, as if we have known them forever. We immediately care about this person. We strike up a conversation and find we have much in common.

Case in point; I go to a store that ships items for USPS two or three days per week. I arrived one day to find a new employee behind the counter. She is an Afro-American and I am white. We started off with the business at hand. No other customers were in the store at that time. I asked how she was doing. I could tell from the look on her face she had a problem. I told her I knew that look. It was about a boyfriend. She asked how I knew that was her problem. I told her I felt I knew more about her. She asked if we have met before. I told her not in this lifetime. I described her life to a tee. I told her she attended college and was studying business, math and social sciences. She was amazed that I was correct. She is much younger than me. I told her we were great friends in a past lifetime and we cared about each other very much. She admitted feeling a kinship with me. I told her that in the past lifetime we had a passion for writing and used to read each others’

Work and talk about God and seeking enlightenment. I told her she was a white girl and the relationship was purely platonic. She gazed into my eyes and said she believed me. She said she still has a passion for writing. She felt it in her heart. Since then, when I go to that store, we tell each other our situations in life. No matter how long between visits to the store, we always remember the tiniest details about each other.

Is reincarnation real? I am not sure. I do know this is not the first time such an occasion has happened to me. When I was a teenager, I met a friend at school. We became fast friends. Once again, the feeling that we had known each other forever surfaced. We were too young to know about reincarnation, but the same distinctive things between us ran true. Although, I have moved to another state, we still keep in touch and consider ourselves brothers. Were we brothers in a past lifetime. I do not know.

Thanks for this article! It’s very interesting. I believe in reincarnation and I am a Christian unfortunately you have to be very careful who you tell in the Christian world that you believe in reincarnation because they will condemn you for it. Anyway I have been reading things and studying up on things in the bible and I’m finding more and more that I believing that way. I just finished a book intitled “Life Between Life” You might find it interesting too. It’s an older book I found in the library. The authors are Joel Whittman and Joe Fisher. I wrote a book review on it on my page if you want to hear more about that book. Thanks again for sharing your story.

Yes, I know what you state here well. I have experienced this more than once.

You would enjoy the books of Edgar Cayce and his unusual experiences, but I personally reject mysticism and superstition. Why can’t we just go with what we know is real and wait for the (slow) advancement of knowledge to instruct us what is really happening in the universe.
