This is the second part to "What about Daddy" in chapter one.

”Look what you made me do now” Anne’s father yelled as he got out of the car with blood running down from his head.  Anne just stood there and stared at the car that was now smoking against the tree.  Anne’s father walked back inside and sat down. “Anne” her mother said, “come inside it’s getting late.”  Anne walked back inside with her mother and sat on the floor crying and scared.  “Fix me some damn dinner! I have work tomorrow” Anne’s father yelled. Anne’s mother just quietly went into the bedroom and started packing her stuff.

”Did you not hear me?” her father yelled as he walked into the bedroom. Anne just sat there crying as her father and mother where fighting.  Anne went and got her sister, Faith, and brother ,Sam, and sat them down on the floor in the kitchen.  “Damn it George!” Anne’s mother yelled from the bedroom. “Get your hands off of me!” Anne rushed into the bedroom to see her father hands around her mother’s neck, pushing her up against the wall. “Daddy, stop it!” Anne screamed. “Daddy please stop it!” Anne cried.

Anne ran over to the phone and called 911. “Please, help me. My daddy is killing my mommy.” Anne said to the 911 operator. Anne gave the operator their address just before her father came in and grabbed the phone from her hands. Anne’s father smashed the phone against the wall and ran into the kitchen and grabbed a knife. “How dare you call the police?” Anne’s father yelled as he waved the knife in front of her face. Anne’s father grabbed her around the waist and took her to the couch. “Sit right here!” he yelled as he stuck the knife in between the cushions. “I swear if any of you tell the police what happened i will kill you all, including the police” he said in a rage.

The police knocked on Anne’s door and her mother answered it. “I’m sorry, miss, but we got a call saying that someone was getting hurt.” Anne’s mother looked at the police and said, “No, no one’s hurt here officer. Our daughter Anne called 911 and we didn’t realize it until afterward. “Well, miss, if everything is ok we will leave you be.” said the officer. “Yes, sir. We’re all fine as you can see.” Anne’s mother said.  “You really need to make sure to talk to your daughter about prank calls” the officer said as they were leaving. “Yes, sir. We are going to do that right now” Anne’s mother said.

As soon as the police left Anne’s mother told them to get in bed. “I’ll be there in a few minutes to tuck you in” Anne’s mother said. Anne took her brother and they both went into the bedroom to get into bed. As soon as they got in there Anne’s father came to the door and closed it. They heard their father put a padlock on the outside of the door and lock it. Anne and Sam just sat in the middle of the room crying.
