People who ever traveled to Mexico had experienced something unusual, most of Mexicans know how Americans look like and they call them Gringos.

What is a Gringo?

A Gringo is a person who cames from USA and speaks English, in other cultures are named Gabachos (Spain, Colombia, Venezuela), but is a derogatory way so say someone, you must be thinking, what Gringo means?

Gringo means:

Green Go, from the Mexican-American war at 1846. Because the American army was dressed by green, and when they took the Mexico City, most of people tried to expel them by words and no giving services (pubs, stores etc.)

To get a little conclusion, gringo is not offensive in any way, but absolutely is a way to make you notice that you are a tourist.
