According to the teaching of Christianity, on the Biblical Context that Offenses against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven.

Christian Doctrine

In the Christian Doctrine, if we go against the Divine Principles. We commit sins. It may either mortal or venial sins, its still all sins.

But there is the so called, the sin that cannot be forgiven. On the Biblical context as stated: The sin against the Holy Spirit – is a kind of sin that can never be forgiven. What is this sin/s against the Holy Spirit? And how to identify that such sin/s are against the Holy Spirit?

Simple Things To Know

* You are aware you committed sin/s, but you keep denying it, hiding it in your heart, and even hardened your heart. Yes because sins will surely hardened your heart.

* You don’t repent. Only in repentance and supplication that sin/s may be forgiven by God.

* You don’t ask forgiveness from God. Through humility that man will recognize the power and glory of God. Knowing that man can do nothing without God.

With all these things, Sins can never be forgiven.

Take this historical account of ancient God’s people who go against His Commandments. And what happened to them as consequences what they had done:

* Cain – who kills his brother Abel. Did not ask forgiveness. He is scorned including his entire generations.

* The fallen Angels – who dis-obeyed God commandments. They were cast down from Heavens into a doomed place suited for them. It is because they never repent and ask forgiveness.

* Judas Iscariot – because of greed, he sell Lord Jesus with a sum of money. And at the end he committed suicide. Due to severe guilt and depressions.

* St. Peter “The Rock” – also committed sin – when he denied 3 times of being friend, and knowing Jesus. As foretold by Jesus before His Crucifixion. That before the roster crow he will deny Jesus 3 times. And it happened. St. Peter cried bitterly, felt so sorry, humble himself, supplicate and ask forgiveness. He never go away from Jesus, instead he draw himself nearer to God. Go back to the church or community that God had originated and handed to him, as head of Jesus’ flock – His Apostles – He became then the First Pope of the Christian Beliefs.

In Contrast

While Judas Iscariot – never show humbleness, supplication, repentance and never ask forgiveness. Instead he ran away and hang himself.

God is a loving God, even how sinful man is, with open arm – God – still forgive. If only man recognize his sinfulness. He  will repent and ask for forgiveness.

Why not respond to His invitation – N O W ! !
