Starting fresh… new beginnings. Read on…
I’ve learned to accept reality for what it is, when you look at someone no matter how much love you have for them. In the end the only love that matters is one’s own. How people act, what they say, and their character can give you warning signs or jus an idea of who they are.
I’ve learned that you can’t change anything with wishful thinking. You have to just be understanding and worry about what you can change.
I’ve learned that you have to know what you want in life to have a better direction.
I’ve learned that happiness comes from within you not from someone else
I’ve learned that people have to earn your respect and trust. It’s not just given based on how you feel.
I’ve learned that keeping just a few friends close can build a family and that support to keep your head up when you feel it weighs 1,000lbs.
I’ve learned that a strong character is admirable when you have people take a look at what your values are, what you feel is right.
I’ve learned that getting angry, allow negativity to flow, and not caring can make you a very cold person. Which in the future will keep you from people that were meant to be in your life.
I’ve learned that caring about someone is sometimes having to say “no” or turning your back to allow them to climb up to your level & standards. Not the other way around. One should never drop-down to a level in order to make someone else happy.
I’ve learned that hard-work and focus can take you anywhere you wanna go. But most importantly allow you to get to know yourself in ways you never knew.
I’ve learned that people know more about me than I know about myself.
I know these things are common sense… but when you’ve lived your life blindly, you just can’t seem to see it yourself. Experiences are your master professors in life and once you’ve learned a specific lesson… you will move on to bigger better things.
