This is a quick story on how the show Power Rangers changed my life.

There are many things from my childhood that made it worthwhile, but the one thing that has stay with me, though it may come across you as silly, the Power Rangers.

I remember waking up early every morning to watch as my heroes saved the day. In fact, I was so into power ranger I learned all their moves. Funny part about it was that when I was 11 I started Tang Soo Do, and on my first day, my instructor asked me how I managed to learn such advance moves, I soon became a red belt. This however did not happen till I showed them how gifted I was with a bow staff; thanks to Ninja Turtles. As I grew older and strong I continued to learn from power rangers, and just watch it for kicks. I remember on my 15 birthday all I wanted to do was audition to be a Power Ranger. I worked extra hard and got the body of a ranger. Then right before my 16 birthday I began my training in Mixed Martial Arts. I would go and fight anywhere, from small clubs, to backyards. Later on I competed in a competition that was against the 20 most elite fighters in the area. I won. But what really threw off my opponent was that I walked out and fought to the P.R. theme song. I gained a lot of endurance for these fights due to the fact that I joined JROTC when I entered high school.

I am now a Sergeant Major in JROTC, and 5 degree black belt, a Mixed Martial Arts Fighter and great leader and student, and to think, it was all because of one show……..Power Rangers.
