Choose at east one type of personality that more or less describes you or looks like you. The list (not exhaustive) is given below.

What Type of Personality Do You Have?

Personality is the patterned totality of human powers, activities or habits uniquely organized by the person in the active pursuit of his self-ideal and revealed in his behavior. Self-analysis is  probably the hardest thing to do because it is difficult to admit the backside of our splendidly-protected public image. It’s like taking off your mask and preparing yourself for a hard blow. 

Below is a Personality Traits Inventory from which you can analyze your own personality. Which one or two aptly describe yourself or more or less look like you?

(1) EXTROVERT: gregarious or social, friendly, warm, confident, verbally expressive, assertive, confident, frank, outgoing, party-goer, animated, loves display or exhibition, artful, loves conversation or discussion, often loquacious or talkative….
(2) INTROVERT: cold, undemonstrative, distant, forbidding, prefers only a few friends, would rather read than attend a party, quiet, introspective, reserved, unexpressive, independent, secretive, inhibited, monastic, private, shy, soft-spoken, deep-thinking….
(3) INTELLIGENT: creative or inventive, rational, philosophical, accomplished, skeptical, analytical, logical, suspicious, savvy, worldly, experienced, discriminating, frank, bookish
(4) DOMINEERING OR OVERBEARING: imperious body language, overly-critical, aloof, verbally or physically abusive, bossy, stubborn, lordly, highhanded, messianic….
(5) SAD OR GLOOMY: low self-esteem, sullen, morbid, wistful, pessimistic, sighs a lot, mopes, hang-dog expression, slumps in chair, thinks too much of death, humorless, glum….
(6) IGNORANT: gullible (easily cheated), naïve, bumbling, easily taken advantage of, thinks reading is for nerds, little insight into other’s behavior, easily taken by sales gimmicks, does not think of consequences, unthinkingly racist, prejudiced, impulsive, reckless, artless, incautious, unthinkingly sexist/chauvinistic, does not think before speaking, has no opinions, gives glib,  advice, misinterprets  issues,  highly opinionated….
(7) BORING: talks endlessly about self/ does not talk, has no opinions, brags about self and family accomplishments, tiresome, dresses in one color, conservative clothing, never changes routine, speaks in monotone, does not listen, hogs conversation, eats in same place and same food, afraid of change, afraid to take risks, avoids conflict, never raises voice, never gets angry or passionate over anything, loves to talk about same topic and same people and places, overly-agreeable, one-dimensional, uninformed about events….
(8) ECCENTRIC: individualistic, fanatical, obsessed, crazed, “deranged”, neurotic, manic, excessive, extravagant, quirky, odd beliefs, nonconformist, weird, original, does not care what others think, radical, mad, wears strange or wild or unconventional clothes, hermit-like, “scatterbrain”, attention-getter, shocks people with unconventional behavior….
(9) PURITANICAL: chaste, upright, stiff, rigid, religious, holier-than-thou attitude, goody-goody, feels superior, sees others as immoral heathens, politically correct, scrupulously moral, modest, honest, ethical, law-abiding, hard working, judgmental, lacks humor, prim, correct, easily offended, knows what’s best for others, starchy, refuses alcohol and or smoke, believes in censorship, aloof….
(10) HAPPY OR JOVIAL: laughs easily, relaxed, happy-go-lucky, optimistic, cheerful, devil-may-care, friendly, funny,, good humored, easygoing, joking, childlike, silly, playful, blithe, carefree, live-for-today, animated, bubbly, sings, hums, energetic, vivacious…###
