Have you ever heard that Earth’s moon has been moving farther away from us with each passing day? Well it’s true! About a whole whopping two and a half centimeters (about one inch) away every year. Even though that doesn’t seam like much, it really adds up over time. If you had lived back in the days of dinosaurs, the moon would have been a lot bigger in the night sky than what you see today. Eventually, some believe that the moon will be destined to disintegrate.
