How old must someone be to understand that there are people in the world that are not as well off as you. That you should be greatful for what you have and learn to pay it forward. That is what humanity is all about; paying it forward, helping your fellow man.

So many of us go through life with blinders on.  We are so wrapped up in our own world that we don’t think or see those around us.  Always trying to get ahead of those in front of you, be it on the road or in a line; just hurry up and get there.  Why?

I am asking you; total stranger.  To stop and look around.  Do one good deed today.  Just one.  Here are just a few of those things;

-  Give a buck to someone on the street that is not as well off as you

-  Give thanks to whatever God or Almighty power that you believe watches over you for being alive

-  Look around and notice those around you and ask yourself am I a good being

-  Be mindful of the beauty of nature

-  Be kind to all animals

-  Show respect to all people as you wish respect be shown you

-  Get up and let someone elderly take your seat

-  Be mindful of those walking behind you and hold the door for those following

-  Pick up a piece of paper someone carelessly discarded onto the street

-  Be respectful of those on the losing side of a game; always remembering that in every sport there are losers and winners but that how the game was played is always more important and shows the true core of what we are made of.

Above all remember you CAN make a difference in the lives of others.  It is your choice how you choose to make your mark.

Best regards.
