We are living in a world era where the winner takes it all and almost all our leaders are proving to be above the law if there is anything called that anyway. People have become puppets to others in return for something, our leaders have decided to take the high road and do whatever pleases them, they also are increasingly throwing dust in our eyes so that they can rob us in plain day light.
At times I sit in wonder trying to understand what went wrong in our history, who paved way for such rulers who have lost human love and values as if they have become immortal so that they can torture us in what ever way they wish. I am starting to think rather than having wolves in sheep’s skins, tyrants would have been better despite the many things they did as recorded in history, they had atleast one consideration and that is they ruled people not animals.
Comparing the two where one has to decide whether to be ruled by people who are our people during campaigns but forget us the time they get in the system or a big headed ruler who shows no mercy to anyone who is caught up in the law’s way but fights to provide for his people, I think one would choose the latter despite the harsh treatment.
 I believe nothing pains like shattered hopes, hopes that were mere delusions so that one can gain your favour, there is no difference between such and a forgetting man who drops the very ladder he used to reach up. As we advance, we are forgetting who we are, what constitute us, but maybe these days’ people are born with stones in place of the heart because we no longer feel the heart beat and the concern for fellow humans.
As pilots control the planes in the air and captains cruise those boats, money and wealth are the drivers of he situation and others becoming co-drivers in some people’s aspects of life. For as scientists have the AIDS vaccine on their minds, some of our so called leaders have greed stored up there that they forget who lead them there. I will not finish by saying that every one has not cut their coat according to their cloth but as one drop of blood can destroy the whole milk so does one dead body drag a live one down the sea. Our good leaders though in small numbers, our whole hope has been cast in you to patch up those gaps these wolves have torn in our system but as it goes, time heals everything, lets hope we shall have patience in stock.
