Some believe that once life end here on earth that’s the end of it, there’s nothing else after death. Others believe that everyone goes to heaven after death. Many believe that when one dies, he/she will either go to heaven or to hell base on whether he was a good person or not. Then there are those who believe that when one dies, he will go to heaven if he accepted Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior or will go to hell if he/she never accepted Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior.

Which one of these claims has been proven to be the truth about life after death?

Those who believe that life ends after death cannot possibly be true because it wouldn’t make sense why there’s life in the first place, to be and then not. to be. This theory shows that there’s no purpose for life at all.

The second claim cannot possibly be true because according to the bible, God is Holy and cannot co-exist with sin. Because we are all sinners we cannot all go to heaven to be with a God who cannot co-exist with sinners without some kind of redemption. Therefore, this claim cannot possibly be true since there are all kinds of bad people in the world such as; murderers, adulterers, child molesters, rapist, hatred, etc. How could a Holy God allow such people to live with him in his paradise?

The third claim indicate that if you are good on earth, you will automatically go to heaven when you die, and if you were a bad person you will go straight to hell. This claim cannot be true because according to the bible, a word from the creator himself, that no one is good enough to enter into his heaven. Good works cannot save a man from the wrath of God. He requires some kind of redemption in order to let anyone into his kingdom.

It appears that the only claim that is proven to be true is, those who believe that once one dies he goes to heaven if he believes in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and he would go to Hell if he does not believe and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. This can all be proven from the bible. Jesus, who is God himself became a human being and gave himself up as ransom for all of humanity’s sins so that through him we might all be saved. But only if we accept him as our personal savior. Jesus said in (John 3:16) “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the father except he goes through me.” We can believe the words of the bible because everything God said he would do he has done. The bible is always proven to be true. I truly recommend for one to read the story Jesus told about a rich man who died and a poor man who died in Luke 22:19-31.
