Who has the right to slap someone elses child? I read an article online earlier today about that very thing. I guess it happen in a wal-mart store somewhere in Georgia a man who was about 61 years old. Told the lady to shut her 2 year old up.  The lady tried calming the child down with no successful attempts the man picked the child up and slap her about 3 or 4 times and then he said see I told you I would shut her up. That is just appealing to me that someone would have the nerve to do something like that. I have 5 kids and I dont believe in smacking/hitting so I would have a serious problem with this guy. Even if I did smack my kids as a form of disciplining I think that anyone else has the right unless I say so. That incident would have been very hard for me to deal with the guy ended up being arrested and charged with cruelty to a child and I realy hope he is severely punshied. I mean yeah almost everytime I go to wal-mart or someplace like that there never fails there is always some kind throwing a fit and whatever but I do not think that justifies what the guy did sure he could have asked that lady to calm her child down some but to do what he did there’s just no excuse for it. I dont think other people have the right to phyiscally discipline someone else’s child without their permission.
