Tiger Woods, famous for his golf career and many wins, crashed his SUV into a tree. According to news source, Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, had to break open the SUV with a golf club in order to get to him. She stated that he was going in and out of conscious. Tiger Woods survived the crash with facial lacerations. However, he refuse to give police officers a statement.

It isn’t against the law to refuse to give a statement to a police officer but it does look rather suspicious if you don’t. The police went several times to Tiger’s home to get a statement but each time they were turned away. Tiger Woods did make a statement on his website. It talks about how his wife, Elin, acted “courageously” when she saw that he was hurt. He says any other assertion is “absolutely false.”

Since the police have ruled out alcohol as the cause for Tiger’s crash, many people around the Internet have made other assertion ranging from drug use to Tiger’s marriage falling apart due to his indiscretion. According to TMZ, Tiger Wood did not suffer facial laceration from the SUV crash but rather from his wife.

The public will not know for sure what had caused Tiger’s SUV crash unless he comes out and say it himself.
