Recently in the news, it appears many have forgotten the financial mess this country is in and many of those whinging appear to come from people who are very well off. Here I look into the problems as well as who are doing it without actually pointing a finger. The answers will be known by many especially the culprits themselves.

Many events may unfold with a connection to many of the psychological effects to people in this country. The man who shot twelve people in Cumbria may have a link to financial hardship as mentioned in the press. This may have driven him over the top, so it makes me wonder how we have people with so many problems yet, MPs and Royals still have time to whinge because they are going to have their millions taxed more or want more to have more to finance this country’s palaces and castles.

We have many royals and former royals, feel they are entitled money from the state to finance their spending habits and do very little in return. Much of this is all funded by the tax payer. I do believe the Royal household accountants are responsible for working out what needs to be spent and where and it looks as though someone hasn’t been doing their job efficiently.

I also feel that the last Government as well as the Royal household waited until it was too late and the country is now broke. If they had acted before the country started going further into the red we might have been able to avoid such a calamity.

We are in such a position now, where if the ordinary man has to make cuts, so should everyone including the royals. However, if more profits can be made from the royal coffers then much can be used for maintenance of historic palaces and castles as well as funding many services that rely on charitable donations.

There are people who have had a high life style who are broke judging by their own circles, but can still live to a higher life style than others even if they have to cut their cloths to their present finances. However I wasn’t shocked but just saddened by the extent they go to get huge amounts of money and still expect the public to feel some sympathy for them. However there are many who don’t have the cheek or audacity to claim hardship in these ways and as a result bottle up their situations.

Financial depression may have shown its real ugly side this week, as a contributory factor in the Cambrian Massacre. We may not know the full extent yet, but if someone hasn’t got the adequate back-up with their finances there isn’t any lengths of how far people will go.

One can’t know if someone is going to go mad with a fire-arm. But we must ask ourselves if the answers may lie in the attitude of today’s society? What is in our diets by the additives to our food chain? Are people so unkind and bully others into becoming psychotically obsessive, thus endangering themselves with self-harm or others like the Cambrian case.

There is a lot that should be learnt from this case, by evaluating the understanding of humans and what drives us to the extent of criminal acts. What signs there are, can we notice them without alarming the person involved? I don’t think so because many of us may feel stressed but are too embarrassed to admit we may be in danger of ourselves.

But I know for a fact that the more well off you are; the more likely you are to whinge.

    Hi Tim,

A debatable topic i think, with regards to the cumbria gunman. As yet the reasons have been kept undercover which i find rather strange since he shot dead 12 innocent people and injured more.

    A good article nonetheless
