I write an article, you read the article (hopefully), and then post something like "nice share" (which is supposedly one of the top comments people post on here). So my question is why don’t you hit the "like" button on the page.

One reason could be because of the annoying ads that attack you if you linger on a page too long. This is why I myself don’t comment as much as I should on other articles. I read three sentences, and the bounty paper towel ad in spanish blocks everything and I have to sit there for three minutes waiting for the video to go away.By the time that happens I’m so pissed I don’t think I could “like” anything if I tried.
Another reason could be because the idea of clicking on a thumbs up everytime you visit a page is absurd. This isn’t kintergarden and I don’t need gold stars
to keep track of how good a job I’m doing. I think they are trying to copy sites like Facebook, where it actually matters if you like something or not.
I guess this rant is to get some recognition. Either reward us for clicking the like button, or delete it all together and clear up some space on these already cluttered pages. This just what I’d “like”.
