They tell us to cut down on fats, meat and fried foods, yet our parents lived on these items; then why are they outliving their children?

Whole Milk

Their diets were horrible and they ate a lot of meat and fatty fried foods; and yet they are outliving their children. You have to stop and think, how can that be, with their diet of eggs and bacon every morning, drinking whole milk and so much cheese, it is a miracle they survived long enough to have us; yet many of us are dying way before our time.

In the last three months I have attended funeral where the decease was under fifty years old, and their parents where there beside the coffin.  As I look over the photos, which are placed around the room, I can help but wonder how can this be; then it hit me!

Our parents ate foods that were no good for them, but they got up early did a very hard physical days work, and got a good nights sleep. They were able to burn up the excess fat on their body and developed muscle while burning up the plaque that would develop in our arteries, if they keep themselves moving. If you spend a day, almost your entire life, working hard and the blood is constantly pumping, outside of having heart attack from a weak heart, your clear arteries will help keep you alive. When parents of the 1930’s 40’s, had heart attacks they were usually due to a weak heart. Occasionally someone would have a heart attack similar to the ones that people suffer today, but today, people who are thirty-nine, forty, or forty-five are having heart attacks.

We can only ask why?
Macaroni and cheese

Well what is different from what we do, that our parents did, well as children we did not work in the farms at 5am, before going to school, we may eat a balance breakfast of cereals, but then there is a lot of junk consumed before they come home to dinner. Some kids eat, macaroni and cheese, with steak or they just to McDonald’s or Burger King; which both have decent food, but when eaten in excess is not very good for us. Anything eaten in excess, is not good for us, but what is killing us is the fact that we don’t work out body all day long to burn the fat, and plaque, today society is flabby and heading to major heart attacks or strokes.

So unless you want to be laying in a coffin with you parent looking down at you, you better start making sure your eating properly, but more importantly you out there working that body; that includes you fat, muscle and heart. If your heart is pumping, keeping that blood moving through that very important muscle and up through the brain and arteries, preventing plaque to build up, then I am sure you will live long enough to die in the order that was meant to be. No Parent should have to be present at their son or daughter funeral.
