The reason I think twilight was a horrible movie, and not worth watching.

OK, So recently I saw the movie twilight. First I’ll say the rating I gave it, 40/100… (a fail as you can see). OK so first we’ll move onto the hype, the only reason that this movie made it to the theaters was because of all the teenage hype, so the books were alright. Twilight is an awesome movie that all 13 year old girls who’ve read the book think, they only say that because the lead actor is hot. Now I’ll start talking about the acting, the acting was pretty terrible, with extremely corny parts. One of the things that disappointed me the most were the vampires I watch the movie expecting neck biting, like in classical vampire movies…  The story line; DID NOT AT ALL MAKE SENSE. but like that matters this movie was made for 13 year old’s who follow the vampire cult. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE AT ALL. This was a waste of an hour. Do not attempt to watch it after reading the review. In short this movie is the equivalent of the Jonas Brothers bands talent at singing.

First of all, I started off with the mindset of being completely “ANTI-Twilight.” Upon hearing of my friend Peggy who is my age (mid thirties), she also has a Master’s degree & teaches locally at a college where I live; Peggy has read the entire Twilight series. She insisted I read them.

After further researching on my own, Stephenie Meyer has a degree in English Literature from Brigham Young University, which impressed me. I read the first book. The first 100 pages or so seemed a bit dry to me, but clearly, the author is setting her stage for her series.

I finished book one. Read the 2nd book in just three days. The 3rd book I read in the same amount of time. I raced to buy the 4th book and put it on my Mastercard. I’ve finished the 4th, and loved the books.

I’m sure when the Wizard of Oz came out in it’s day, it was accused of witchcraft & being a dark movie. I mean, let’s be REAL here. Didn’t we not hear enough of this about Harry Potter? It’s what you make of it. Personally, I’d rather have my children read or watch Twilight, than half of the garbage on television, prime time, or the majority of the movies that are out now.

    Signed,

    Opinionated in Oregon

There’s no smut, nothing is incinuated in any of the four books which would make me uncomfortable of having teenagers or my Grandmother to read these.

Interview with a Vampire was graphic not to mention morbid.
