How many times have wild thoughts carried you away from an uninteresting lectures?

I sit in the class,

the window to my left,

The teacher speaks in numbers not words,

And I am already floating away.

The sparrows chirp outside,

Busy bee sings by,

And I find myself in a wonderland,

Devoid of any lie,

As my mind climbs out of the window,

The world gathers me in its hug,

Drops me right by the riverside,

Sandcastles all dug,

I glide into the silent sea,

To swim with the fishes,

And I am scooped up by the clouds,

They ask me about my wishes,

Just as I open my mouth,

after working up a lovely pout,

My teacher shouts at me from far,

Nisha, get up and get out!!!
