Walking as royalty rather than slavery.

YE ARE GODS AND GODDESSES; NOT SLAVES!

By Frangelica Zen

A quote regarding poverty comes to mind from the wisdom of Muhummad Yunus, a former Nobel Peace Prize winner. Yet the world we live in clearly is marked with poverty. I find myself bewildered living in such a state; mind broken but heart and soul intact still knowing I am a Queen not a pauper. The Mind is everything and it picks up on the outside influences easily. The battle comes from sustaining the Mind on a feast of good; a cornucopia of fullness if you will. In today’s world, I get the evil eye and crazy accusations for believing that I am a queen amidst unemployment and general assistance but what is the alternative? Surely I cannot succumb to the diet of bad news and depressing statistics!

By natural occurrence according to this natural world, I was born a statistic: a minority female. Destined for bad breaks, poverty and crime, there is one thing that keeps me from slipping into the underworld: The Word of God. Yes, here I go again extolling the beauty of holiness!

King David is my favorite man of the Bible; my Lord how he rocks!

David was born to be insignificant in the natural but God knew David as a man after His own heart and there is no way to remain unknown when God puts his super on your natural! David’s story is not a walk through paradise but he was bold and uncompromising as well as a poet who knew how to weave words; a testament to all of us who have read his Psalms.

“Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.” Psalm 23:6 Amplified Bible

King David was not a man who guessed but rather a man who knew that God is good; therefore as a creation of God there is only certainty. We too must gather up everything within us to fight against as Paul says: The whole armor of God! The battle of the mind requires this fight for us to overcome being slaves to the world but rather victors over the world. We are supposed to win, be happy and successful not for greed or conceit but for spreading the wealth for a higher purpose. The work comes at uncovering the layers of karma that we receive from our parents, teachers and other influences in life. This hard work requires a complete renovation of our beliefs: the truths and the lies. It is very difficult and I still struggle with it but once you begin you will start to feel courage rise within you.
