Fool me once, shame on you…
Fool me twice, shame on me.
You are not who I thought you were…
In our lives we will come across people who are very good actors. These people make you think they are caring, polite, kind and wonderful people, until one day they forget to act for a moment and then the true colors show. These people can go through life fooling hundreds of people that they meet along the journey. I guess a perfect word for “these people” is “FAKE”, because they pretend to be someone they are not.
Fake people make you think that they are your best friend and then the next second, they are just down the street, and talking behind your back. Fake people can be those who appear to be wonderful people in public, but change drastically when behind closed doors. They are the ones who will say or do anything to anyone to get just what they want.
There are no signs or symptoms of fake people as far as I can see, however fake people often tend to be dishonest in more than one area of their lives, tend to have an overly sweet speaking voice, and complain to you a lot about other people when they are not around. I have dealt with many fakes, however sometimes you don’t see true colors until it is too late. You may have already trusted one of these people with many of your secrets and failed to find out in time that this person doesn’t care about you at all. He or she may have only been using you for his/her own personal gain or even just to cause you pain. Things do not always go as planned because of these people…FAKE people.
