Let me star out by saying this, I don’t judge people if they are 18 and pregnant. No one should. I will tell you why later.

So many teenagers are being dumb and not practicing safe sex. Many girls are getting pregnant. Now a lot of adults say bad things about girls that are having babies. They look down on them.  They don’t get pregnant because they are sleeping around with a bunch of guys. Maybe the girl was with the guy for a long time and the moment she said, we are having a baby he ran. If you are one of those people who think that it’s so wrong that teenagers are having babies, then let me ask you this, don’t you think its more responsible to go through with the pregnancy and either give your baby to someone who can’t have a child or raise it themselves? Then rather going and getting an abortion? That’s what I thought.

I’m 18 and 9 months pregnant. I was with my ex for 2 years, he wanted to get married and all that jazz until I said babe, I’m pregnant. He left me for a girl 5 years younger. He said he couldn’t be with someone young and immature like me and be a father. Funny thing is, I was the one who had a job, taking care of my self and eating healthy for the baby. Going to my doctors regularly. While he sat at home and did drugs and messed around with an under aged girl. Who’s the immature one? My point is, many people look down on the girls, yet most the time the guys abandon the girls. It takes two to have sex and create a baby but it takes the women to give birth and go through that pain. People don’t realize things like that. I don’t regret getting pregnant. Like many people ask. I had sex with a guy I thought I was going to be with forever, and I got pregnant. I get to raise a little boy who’s going to know that I love him more then anything. Babies are a blessing not a burden.
